Baseball season has started. Rosebud's opening day is May 2nd. Austin is again playing on the New Salem Baptist Church Angels. He is probably one of the biggest on the team. He can hit the ball farther then any of the kids on the team. Ramon and Tyler are helping coach again this year.
Tyler goes back to the doctor on April 7th. We will then find out what is in store for him as far as his knee is concerned. He is getting very tired of the not getting to play sports thing.

Ramon is doing ok. Last Monday had to go to the doctor was not feeling well having some pains and still the swelling but seemed to not be worrried about it. Got home and started having pains in his back and side and figured out he had a kidney stone. So he was on pain pills the rest of the day.
Brandon has UIL Thursday for social studies, he is playing Friday night at the Baptist Church in music appreciation night. He is playing his solo and they are going to play their ensemble that is going to state in May. Then this summer they will have their senior pictures done. That just dosen't seem possible. And several of the colleges open applications this summer so we will have that to do.

Brandon in Band

I almost forgot Brandon and two other trumpet players have an ensemble that is going to STATE! Yes STATE!

The state ensemble contest is in May the week school is out in San Marcus.

Ramon's update

ok well Ramon has had 4 more stints put in this past January. He is really doing well since but he has gout in his right foot. OK We managed to get over that somewhat and he has gone back to work. He was home for over 3 weeks. But we are finally getting back to normal. RIGHT

He is however probably going to have to change positions at Perry's. Being that he really does not need to be lifting as much now.

But he is still have some swelling. Not all time but ever so often I can tell he is swollen in his face, stomach and feet. I have told the doctors and told the doctors and they will not listen to me for anything.

but he is doing better and that's what matters

update on Tyler's knee

Tyler is still not particpating in any sports at this time. We are still battling his knee injury from last April. We were almost good to go but a coach that thought he knew more then the Orthopedic Doctor decided to go against the doctors note and make him run track. So we had to do another MRI and it is improving since the last MRI but due to the set back we will not get to play Baseball this year.

As you all know Tyler is not one to be in the cage or on the sideline. We have about another month of no activities and then we return to the doctor and see how things are going. If not healed or not any better he will do surgery. The surgery will be Ready for this!!!!
OK let me explain what is wrong with his knee. There is a chipped bone but did not completely break off. So the surgery will be going in and drilling in to the bone to make it grow back and heal.
However the doctor did promise him that once it is either healed or even with surgery he will be ready to play football in August.
He was very upset however that he was not going to get to play baseball this summer. They had signups about 2 weeks ago. He ask the doctor himself but not this year.

But I will say the football team better be ready because Tyler will be back and ready to play.
