Brandon at the Christmas Band Concert. This is when he was being announced for making the ATSSB Honor Band. All of the band at the Christmas Concert did an Awsome Job.

new update on Ty's knee

We got wonderful new on Friday about Tyler's knee. The doctor says that the xrays look really good. He still can't run, jump or do PE for at least another 4 weeks. He will start physical therepy January 6th. He will probably be very limited the rest of the school year for PE or alot of activities with running. To be able to play football in the fall.

He doesn't have to wear the brace anymore and crutches when his knee is hurting.

He was really glad that so far will not have to have to have surgery.

As you can tell it was total choas at our house. But they had a blast.

Tyler's knee injury

Well we are at this time still battling Tyler's knee injury from April. He is on crutches and a knee brace until the day after Christmas. That's when we go back to the doctor and hopefully get to take it all off or they will decide if he has to have surgery on it. He does say that it's not hurting as bad as it was so I have to believe that staying off and having the brace on it is helping.
The doctor said that he didn't think that playing football hurt it any more than walking on it.
So glad he got to play even thought he didn't get to play the last few games. They did great and had a wonderful year.

Believe it or Not! Austin wanted his picture with Santa this year. He ask me everyday Is Santa coming tonight?

Band Contest

Way to go Brandon-- he has made him a place in the ATSSB Honor Band for this year.
He had contest on Saturday the 6th. They will have a concert in Groesbeck on Saturday, Dec 13th. He will have more contest in January for Centex Honor Band and then Solo and Ensemble contest later. He is really doing great this year.

Austin

This is going to be our next football player. He hardly goes anywhere without wearing his uniform. He even has to wear it while he is playing football on the Nintendo Wii. Now when he plays baseball on the Wii he has to wear his baseball uniform.

He goes to watch Tyler practice and does all of the exercises that the players do. He loves sports. Most people really think that he is old enough to play peewee football and he is as big as some of the kids that play. He is growing up to fast.

Tyler

Well, Here is Tyler's football picture for this year. As you can see it was windy the day that pictures were taken. This week they play the bulldogs. Big Rivals!! We will see how this goes. They are still undefeated and have not been scored on. They have 3 games left including tonight.

This year is really going by fast. In school he is also in One Act Play not acting but with the stage crew. He loves it. He can be a little bossy. Wonder where gets that! LOL

Brandon's Class Ring

OMG It's time to order Brandon's class ring. He want's the school mascot, band, his name in it, the stone with a design, school name on it. He wants to look at different jewelery stores to make sure that he like the band design. Did we do all of this when we ordered class rings. I'm saying how much does one like this cost? Oh I don't know I just want to make sure I like the music/band design and that it looks good on the ring.

Then yesterday they had band contest. After they march off the field they go and have pictures taken. Group pictures of the band and other groups that they kids want. Brandon and his trumpet squad had pictures made. So after the the ratings had been announced we walked over to the buses and he handed me a order form. Question was What is this and he informed me that he had ordered a formal group picture, informal group picture, and trumpet squad picture, and that in a week or so that I can view the pictures online and that they probably will have pictures of him doing his solo and make sure and order some of those too. And so he gave me his order number. What can I say? LOL You gotta love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
